Created by hand from my kitchen table in the Cotswolds, Silk and Strokes brings together fashion, painting and traditional craft.

I hand paint and wood-block print each piece myself, using beautiful natural fabrics to create timeless designs with clean, modern silhouettes. Inspired by my British-Asian heritage, every collection is a meeting of traditional techniques and contemporary style.

I believe clothes should work hard for you — pieces that can be dressed up or down, worn in different ways and loved for years.

 

My designs are intentionally relaxed, size-inclusive and thoughtfully created to suit most shapes with many pieces designed as one-size.

Made in small batches, never mass produced, each piece carries the marks of the hands that made it.
